Oakley Summary: In response to section 833 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2019, this report provides insight into 121 of the Department of Defense (DoD)’s most costly weapon and information technology (IT) acquisition programs. Specifically, this report covers the following four sets of programs: • 85 major defense acquisition programs (MDAP), • 8 future MDAPs, • 13 middle-tier acquisition (MTA) programs, and • 15 major IT programs.
